Note that any of these rules can be overridden if you really want to start that sentence with a lowercase letter, simply retype as appropriate, and Word will allow a one-time exception. The features here are pretty self-explanatory and applicable across most writing styles.
And because it’s almost infinitely customizable, it may be the most powerful function in all of Word. This feature doesn’t just change the formatting of the characters you type, it can actually change your keystrokes, turning uppercase letters to lowercase or vice versa, even altering the order of letters.
